Panelists will focus on the crucial need to enhance the capacity of States and other stakeholders to assess the human rights impact of economic reform policies. The panel will explore existing human rights impact assessment tools and initiatives. Discussions will also reflect on preliminary proposals for the scope and content of guiding principles currently being developed by the Independent Expert.
