CESR's Kate Donald Discusses Tax Biases Against Women and the Global South

On July 1st, CESR’s Kate Donald participated in a webinar on "Taxation for Redistributive Justice: Solutions for Women, People and Planet" that was organized by the Women’s Working Group on Financing for Development and the Global Alliance for Tax Justice's gender & tax working group. Participants – including representatives from Latindadd, ActionAid Viet Nam and Akina Mama wa Afrika – discussed the biases inherent in dominant tax policies and systems, which negatively impact women and other disadvantaged groups, as well as countries of the Global South.
